The south of France has a lot of notable things to offer, among them a warm, Mediterranean climate, wild landscapes, suprisingly many forests and medival towns in outcroppings where time has stood still.

However St. Tropez, the actual target of our visit, had left me somewhat disappointed because the amount of tourism and related commercialization had taken some of the flair out of the city. Although one cannot really
criticize - we too were also tourists and didn't always act as if we were natives.
