Barry is from Florida.  He has just recently (2001) moved to California to begin a modeling career. John Clifford, a friend and modeling scout, introduced me to him and asked me if I would take his pictures.  John is manager and agent for Barry and other handsome talented young men, such as Chris C, who will be on MalePerceptions in a few updates. 
 

Because Barry felt he qualified as the "All-American" type, he sent an application to Abercombie and Fitch, and they accepted him! He spent a couple of days at their spring 2001 production shoot. 
 

Bruce Weber, you know, THE Bruce Weber, shoots the entire production for Abercombie.  Well, at least I know HE had my pictures in his hand when he approved Barry for the shoot!  I hope to see Barry's friendly face in their upcoming catalogue.
