Jens is a professional model from Karlsruhe, south-west of Germany, the city where I was born.

In early summer 2002, on two successive days, we met for a test shoot for a model agency. Both the weather and mood were great.

Jens studies in Karlsruhe (I also studied there 6 years ago) and works on the side in the computer industry, as network administrator and system manager.

The combination of his well-built body and his "fashion-face" led him to several modeling jobs, some of them abroad - more are certain to follow.

Karlsruhe hosts the two highest federal German courts (one for constitutional affairs, one for private claims), giving the city a certain "administrative character", with lots of well-organized institutions. Side-effect: not too much nightlife. 

Three hundred years ago, the city founder, Margrave Karl allegedly fell asleep in a forest and dreamt about a city with a castle in the center and streets located like sunrays from that castle. So, he built a pretty castle in baroque style and a city around in that style, giving Karlsruhe (which means: Karl's rest) a unique and interesting structure. 

Like so many other cities here, the city of Karlsruhe was a victim of the area bombing in WW II, but many parts and houses were rebuilt and reconstructed in a pretty and picturesque style. It is well worth visiting.
