I met Justin Madalone while doing photo shoots for a local modeling agency close to Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA) in early summer 2003. Justin, by that time, was a "new face", a talented young man with an extraordinary torso, trying to get a start in the modeling business.

AlthoughTulsa (I needed to look up where this was) is not a world fashion center, his agent Nurch Novinger (Integrity Model Management) has extensive contacts with the "big players" on the West Coast (Los Angeles) and the East Coast (New York, Miami) of the United States.

Hello everyone!

My name is Justin, I'm 18 years old, I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and now I live in a dorm with my best friend. Right now I'm a freshmen at Oklahoma State University studying to get my masters in Finance.

To mention my middle- and long-term goals, I'll end up getting a job for a while, and then I plan on starting my own  business, and who knows someday I might fall in love.

As of right now my priorities are in my schoolwork, but I always have a good

time modeling and I'm defintely not ruling out any possibilities of pursuing it as a profession some time soon.

The idea of "modeling" first hit me, when when my mom was trying to get me to make some money and stop bumming off of her. She told me I needed to do something and that I should try modeling.

A few weeks later I was in the gym and Nurch (my  manager) approached me and told me that he thought I had a lot of potential for modeling. I was a little reserved at first. It wasn’t until about a year later that I finally did my first shoot ...

I've met a lot of really great and nice people that have been helping me along with this whole experience. Whether they are other models, my agency, my manager, or photographers, I really feel lucky to know them all. They've all taught me a very valuable lesson that nothing comes easy, and if you really want something you have to work hard for it. 

The first time someone took pictures of me was Nurch my manager. He just took a few Polaroids to show them to the local agencies. 

I met Thorsten through my manager Nurch. Thorsten flew all the way to Oklahoma in the Summer of 2003 to shoot me and a few other guys.

It was my first real photo shoot so I was a little nervous, but he had his ways of loosening me up and making me feel more comfortable in front of the camera. It was a lot of fun though.

I did my shoot with two other guys and it ended up  being like a competition to get the most shots.

Besides college, I’m usually hitting the gym pretty hard or playing rugby. My favorite thing in the whole world is playing rugby. 

I love having to push myself and it feels great to give everything I've got and walk away from the pitch knowing I kicked some ass.
