I met Sergio at a Rave Party in Los Angeles in June of 2000.  Sergio lives in La Crescenda, a town in the hills northeast of Los Angeles.  He was born 1980 and is of Italian decent. He works out regularly at the gym, as  many California guys do.
 
 

Sergio has the ideal body type for my personal taste: muscular and  very sinewy (look at those spectacular abdominals), not too broad, not too tall, well defined facial features, in a word, youthful MalePerceptions.
 
 

We almost got in trouble during the shoot. On top of a little hill, with beautiful surroundings and view, there were some nicely organized buildings. We took pictures on the street, on a brigde, and on the sidewalk. Suddenly two women approached us, in catholic dress. "Are you supposed to be here? What are you doing here? This is private property" she yielled at us. For me the area looked like a school with some public buildings and surrounded by houses - nothing was gated or hidden. 

I do not allow anyone to approach me like this, especially not religious fundamentalists. So a long and pointless discussion started, resulting in noticing that ground in the Los Angeles area is either private (so you are not allowed to photograph except you have a written permission and pay for it) OR public (so you are not allowed to photograph except you have a written permission and pay for it).
 

Anyways, this didn't harm our shoot. Sergio and me worked together twice again, once close to his place near La Crescenta, once at Santa Monica Peer, once at Hermosa Beach. Check out the other galleries, which all can be found on the MalePerceptions CD 2000, and some on page 2.
