Stan
is a brightAsian college student living in
the greater
Los Angeles area, born 1979 in Burma. I meet and got to know him at The
Factory, a popular nightclub in West Hollywood. Although Los Angles
has a substantial Asian population, I have shot precious few Asian models.
Stan was born in Burma and moved to the U.S. with his parents as a little
boy.
Stan
has a cute smile and many different faces. Sometimes looking like
a cheeky boy, other times looking like a wise Buddha.
The
pictures were taken in November of 2000 in the area between Santa Monica
(where I live) and UCLA (where I work). For the shoot itself, we were lucky
enough to find a nice little church with very beautiful surroundings.
