When I got to know Travis (born 1981) in May 2000, he was working as a waiter in "The Abbey", a popular cafe/bar in the heart of West Hollywood (California).
 
 

With his low hairline, the high cheek bones, combined with the remarkable eye-lashes (I did not put any make-up on his eyes!), Travis got an exceptional boyish, almost androgynous face structure.
 
 

His passion is singing, and in the long run he wants to become a singer, at least working in the artistic field. 

The photos were taken in June 2000 in the West Hollywood Park and at the beach of Santa Monica.
 
 

Travis lives a little out of the center, in San Bernadino, east of Los Angeles. Depending on the traffic it can be a one hour or even longer ride. I photographed him again in November 2000, the results are, together with more pictures of this shoot, on the MalePerceptions CD 2000.
